Happy first birthday sweet boy! I can't believe it was already a year ago that you entered this world. You are such a joy and a true blessing to your family. I can't wait to see how you grow and develop in your second year of life!

Heidi's Bridal Session | Denton, TX Wedding Photographer

Could this bride be any more beautiful? She seriously took my breath away.

Heidi, I wish you and Jared such a happy life together. I can't wait to share images from your big day!

The Campbell Family Mini Session | Family Photography Denton, TX

I had a great time catching up with this family at our recent family session. It had been a little more than one year since I photographed their wedding, and the kids have grown so much! Lincoln is headed into kindergarten, Carter is in 3rd grade and Kenadee is in 5th! I hope you kiddos have an excellent school year!

A Trip to the Emerald Isle

I got super lucky this last May and was able to accompany my husband on a work trip to Ireland!  While my husband spent his days at work, my camera and I traveled all over the country, touring the beautiful countryside.  I totally felt bad, but what's an obsessed photog and avid traveler to do?

Each day I had something new and fun on my agenda.  Though, in short, this is what I did: I spent several days exploring the enchanting city of Dublin.  I visited Trinity College, the Guinness brewery, Kilmainham Gaol, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Christ Church, Phoenix Park, Dublin Castle, the Chester Beatty Museum, Grafton Street, O'Connell, Street and much more.  Our hotel was situated off St. Stephen's Green, so that made navigating the main parts of the city easy and convenient.  I visited some castles and gardens local to the county, which were beautiful and rich with history.  I also took day trips to Northern Ireland (Belfast, Giant's Causeway, Carrick-a-rede rope bridge, DunLuce Castle) and a day trip out West (The Cliffs of Moher, Galway, Limerick and Bunratty Castle).  Over the weekend when my husband could come, we spent time on a group bus tour exploring Glendalough, a beautiful mountainous area about one hour south of Dublin, featuring St. Kevin's monastery and breathtaking landscape views.  In the evenings my husband and I explored Dublin, eating traditional Irish food at local restaurants and drinking plenty of Guinness at hole-in-the-wall pubs.

I wish we had more time there (especially for my husband who spent most of it working), but 2 weeks was a good amount of time, and we were beyond grateful for the opportunity.  Below are a few shots I snapped on my adventures.  :)

Harper's Watermelon Mini Session | Child Photography Denton, TX

Sweet Harper has grown and matured so much since I photographed her last!  She actually sat and smiled at me and posed for as long as I needed her to!  She is growing up so fast and I can tell her momma wants her to SLOW DOWN!  She is so spunky, pretty, kind and smart.  I love seeing her grow up in front of my lens and I can't wait until I get to photograph her again!
